New Method, one of music’s new bands to emerge on the national stage, will release its second single, “A Safe Distance” from the album “Old School” on January 6. The band, a Christian quartet based in Ohio, recently signed with Avista, an arm of Provident-Sony Music. Avista released “Old School” at the end of 2008.
